என் எதிர் வீட்டுப் பெயர் தெரியாத வாசகர்களுக்கு...

Height of Superstitious Believes

The above picture is taken in my office. Last 2 years I didn’t saw this idol (thristi bhommai) in our conference room. Couple of weeks before I saw it and was shocked. My office is in ICC tower, Pune. It’s a big building having numerous Multinational Companies(Deloitte, Cognizant etc.,) with people of different religion.

Is it necessary to have this kind of Idol in office where people of different religions work together?

The worse part is these Idols are not pictures of God but all evil pictures.
A company's growth directly depends on its vision, mission and values. Not with these idols. What is the purpose of having this kind of idols if a company doesn’t have any vision? (Good example: My own company)
In ancient Hindu books, Has there been any description about possession of these kind of idols. Then Who brought this superstitious belief?

See the above pictures. Few defence academy guys doing hindu rituals (ethanai periyaar vanthalum inthaa muttal makkala thirutha mudiyaathu) before practicing Pilot training. (Note: Lemon in the Helicopter tyre and the coconut in the student hand.)

Military is a place where one should not give importance to ones religious. Even in NCC, one should not keep thilak on head and there should not be any religious rituals. The people who should be a role model to all are depend on this kind of superstitious belief. A military jawan should lay of his/her life to protect this country. If every Jawans pray their God in boundary line, then there wouldnt be a Kashmir. Higher officials should not entertain this kind of behaviors in war front.

What should one do if we come across this kind of stupid behaviors?

What do you mean life?

Hello readers,

Many times, when I was travelling in Mumbai tahnee height lift, I’ve thought of asking the below questions to the lift boy there. I asked some of those to them and their answers were shocking to me. Many of them are not aware of what’s happening in the outside world. Sometimes, I gathered my courage to tell them to leave the lift operating job. But I couldn’t do it. Every now and then, I think about the life of these guys. I couldn’t resist writing about them. I’ve written what I have learned from them as a narration differently. Surely, you guys might also have seen similar people in your office lift. If you have guts, ask them once about their life.

I’ve used many hindi words in between; but its easy to understand.

Here goes...

Hello Dada

Is lift-2 not working?
am sure this filty rich people will be angry on you? sahi na?
lift bandh hogaya thoo, lift man ko baandu baachthae hai, yae loag. ha na? aur naam kya hai? Rakesh kya?
how long are you working here? 10 years? really 10 years?
what the hell are you doing here for 10 years?
you work for 7 days a week? all day in lift? moving from -1 to 33 floors?
how many shifts/day? Oh 2 shift/day? every week you should work in alternate shift? day and night?

Doosth, Aek baath bathow.. roaj masti ladukiyaan thaekthae haai na, lift mae? why are you shy then? tk,
What have you seen around in mumbai? nothing?
Are you married or not? bachelor?
Kithnaa baar Bihar gaya, ither aanae kae baath? once?
Have you ever tried other jobs?

Hello buthuu!!! Can you hear me?
Sala, sunthaa nahi? Lift mae byte byt kae, kaan karab hogaya kya??
Have you ever read the White Tiger? You know the Bihari balraam in white tiger?
Salae, Mahabaratha balraam nahi? thum thoo aek tham pagal hai, kuthae.
thus saal ither bytkae kya kiyaa?

Why are you looking at me? Don’t know the reason? Kaminey, you should lead your life on your own. No one will help you. Don’t stare at me, you idiot.

Do you see the guys who roam with four or five dogs at a time on the Napeansea road? These guys earn about Rs.5000/dog.
This is the first time I’ve come to know about servants for dogs. Have you ever seen this in Patna? No?

Arae buthu, you know, the people who are taking care of the dogs in the apartment earn handsome money. Why don’t you try that? What? Owners won’t trust you? Y? Are they say Biharis cheat? Kya bhakwaas hai.
Do you know Buddha? Dont know? Do you know Pataliputra? Nalandha university? Kuch patha hae kyaa? Salae boalnaa.. Do u know what life means? lifeeeee?
How many jobs have you tried in Mumbai? Many? No one trusts you?

How much you earn daily? 100 Rs with tea? That’s too low for a Mumbai life na? Is that enough for Bihar? More than enough?

Thujae patha kya, What is life? Tk, Chodthoo yaar.. mujae bee nahi patha.. Thum koyee laduki koa pakaada kya pahelae? Nahi? Kya kosish kar raha hai? Will bhagawan help you? This is your life, you dump. Search for new jobs. Kuch thoo padoo, you pimp. Think about it… Even if u become gigolo, you can earn enough to lead a life…Aek baar chinthagi kaisa chalenaekaa soochuloo. Don’t waste your life in this lift. Future mae lift ko operator nahi chaayeyae. People will operate lift on their own. Learn something else sooner.

Aur soonoo, mujae bhi life kaa meaning nahi patha.. Milaa thoo, thojae pakka pathaavoongaa.. Chal.. Phir milengae..
